We've tried a number of natural/herbal conditioners on our kids' long hair, and nothing leaves it as soft as this stuff.

We love California Baby products, and this conditioner is no exception. It works really well, gets out our girls' hair tangles, and leaves their long hair feeling soft and smooth. I love that it is all natural and doesn't leave any greasy film on their hair. I've even used it for my hair as a leave-in conditioner when I've run out of my own hair products. Works great!!!

I tried it as leave-in conditioner on my daughter (it says on the bottle that we could) and the very next day, my daughter's hair was everywhere. In fact so much hair came out when I removed the rubberband from her hair when usually there would be only a few strands. I did not apply conditioner to her scalp to cause the hair loss. I've stopped leaving it in and the hairloss is now minimum again. Maybe my girl's hair is somehow too sensitive for leave-in conditioners. Scent was ok, didn't make my girl's hair any shinier or more 'tangle-free'. Hair still as dry. I'll continue to use it though, just to see if prolong use improves her hair condition. At least I feel at ease knowing it's all natural and gentle ingredients in this that I'm using on her.

If smell is paramount, then this is the product for you. The smell is so fresh and appealing. I don't have any children at home, but I bought this product for myself. I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to smell and this is so mild, appealing and fresh. The shampoo is great too! Even my husband likes it, which for sure makes it a winner in our home.
